Martin is a dog who needs time, patience, and gentleness to open up and build a bond. But once that bond is formed, he becomes very affectionate, clingy, playful, and loving.
He’s a big foodie, very obedient, well-trained, and clean. He enjoys both cuddle time and play sessions, he especially loves balls and plush toys.
Though he has a homebody side, he still appreciates going out for walks with his human.
Martin gets along with calm, small female dogs, but overall, he prefers to be the only dog in the home. He can be around children, as long as they respect his space and boundaries.
Martin has a grumpy yet expressive personality. Some handling can be tricky at first, but with patience and a gentle approach, he will eventually accept it. He’s very vocal: he barks when he’s happy or excited, and he growls when he’s uncomfortable, it’s just his way of communicating. If he feels respected and understood, he becomes incredibly sweet.
Martin is a stubborn but endearing dog : expressive, cuddly, playful, calm, food-loving, obedient, and well-mannered. What he needs most is time, patience, understanding, respect, comfort, and quality time with his human.

Martin est un chien qui a besoin de temps, de patience et de douceur pour s'ouvrir et créer un lien.

Une fois le lien créé, il peut se montrer très câlin, pot de colle, joueur et affectueux.

C'est un grand gourmand très obéissant, éduqué et propre.

Il aime autant les moments câlin que les parties de jeux, il adore les balles et les doudous.

Malgré son côté casanier, il aime tout de même les balades avec son humain.

Martin accepte les petites femelles calmes mais préfère être le seul chien de la famille.

Il peut être en contact avec des enfants si ces derniers lui laissent son espace.

Martin est d'un caractère assez ronchon et expressif. Certaines manipulations peuvent être compliquées mais avec de la patience et de la délicatesse il accepte finalement.

Il s'exprime énormément en aboyant lorsqu'il est content ou impatient et avec des grognements pour montrer son inconfort. Mais s'il est respecté et écouté, il se montrera très doux.

Martin est donc un chien expressif et têtu, doux, câlin, joueur, casanier, gourmand, obéissant et éduqué qui a besoin de temps, de patience, de douceur, d'être compris, respecté et écouté, de confort et de passer du temps avec son humain.
